Media Contributions Consent policy

At We Job Box, we will occasionally wish to use media contributions to highlight the positive work we/you/or your child is doing. This helps us to reach wider audiences and in turn help more young people access the services we offer.

In a world of fast moving social media, live-streaming and to-the-minute broadcasts, we understand that it is not always safe or practical to use media contributions. Further more we do not want to exclude anyone from engaging with us who is unable to be featured in identifiable media contributions. So, we would like your express consent before using any media contributions.

We will always work to ensure that media contributions limit personal information and we will always editorially check any pre-recorded content before publishing.
We will also risk assess and provide guidance on contributions to any live stream content involving young people or aimed at our We Job Box young audiences.

Under 18’s extensive media contributions
Should your child be invited to participate in any extensive media contribution e.g an interview with BBC News or a documentary on unemployment. We will seek out additional consent from you for this.

This policy will be regularly checked and updated in line with changes to how media contributions are collected.

You are also providing consent for media contributions from the named individual to be used on TV & Radio as part of highlighting We Job Box services. For example; if We Job Box is featured on a broadcast medium like the BBC, ITV or any other TV/ Radio/online platform we have express permission to use media contributions from the named individual - both existing or newly created.
