Some great news to share.

We Job Box has been selected as a finalist in the RTS TECHNOLOGY CENTRE Awards 2026 for Collaborative Team of the Year.

This recognition feels especially meaningful because collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.

We started with a simple but difficult question which young people made us think about:

How do you get experience when you need experience to get work experience?

Since then, we’ve worked with young people, employers, universities, colleges and partners to test ideas, learn what works and create better routes into opportunity.

What I’ve learned is this:

Change doesn’t happen alone.

It happens when people come together with a shared determination to open doors, challenge the way things have always been done and create opportunities for others.

That is what We Job Box is about:

Creating access. Building professional social capital. Helping people demonstrate what they can do, not simply what opportunities they have already had.

Thank you to everyone who has supported We Job Box, shared ideas, opened doors, challenged our thinking, worked with young people or believed in what we are trying to build.

This recognition belongs to the community around us.

We still have a lot to do, but with collaboration, commitment and a shared will to create change, we can make a real difference.

We just need to keep opening the doors.
