A Front Row Seat to the We Job Box Journey: Launch Morning at the House of Lords

This morning, I had the privilege of attending a breakfast meeting I was invited to at the UK House of Lords to celebrate the We Job Box Launch Event by its remarkable Founder, Lalita Pinky Taylor FRSA.

As a Trainer for this incredible initiative, it has been a privilege to have a front row seat to the We Job Box journey. From the moment it was a concept to witnessing Lalita’s vision transform, to the highly successful Pilot we delivered last year, to supporting the full three-phase delivery of the Prepare, Discover & Launch tracks this year.

There are people who create opportunities. And then... there are people who create opportunities that most would never access in a lifetime. Lalita is the latter. Her ability to bring vision to life with precision, speed and purpose is exceptional. We Job Box is a catalyst for equity. It uses technology to open meaningful opportunities and create equitable access to real work experience for all students.

I felt incredibly proud seeing participants from our January London Cohort of the Launch Track, join us at the UK House of Lords this morning. Hearing how the programme has transformed their confidence, aspirations and pathways was deeply moving. In only two months, I was thrilled to hear that our participants had secured multiple roles through We Job Box Partners the programme made accessible to the participants. It affirmed the heart of my training: "you never need to limit yourself to one position when your potential reaches far beyond it". So proud of you all: Francis H., Rahul Bharadwa Ayaz Patel Dylan Turner Jubril Hassan Ajan Manoharan Otis Wang

Here is an early preview from this morning. Official photographs to follow.

A special mention to Athena40 - A Platform for Visionary Leadership, whose partnership helped bring together an inspiring panel celebrating Women at the Helm of Change (IWD 2026)

A powerful morning and a reminder of what purposeful innovation can achieve.

Wonderful to see one of my FORTY UNDER 40 UK winners Dr Natasha Davendralingam join the panel and collaborate with the incredible network we have built over the years.
